13 killed as market collapses

Moscow - Thirteen people were killed on Thursday and 18 others injured when the roof over a Moscow market collapsed, Interfax news agency said quoting emergency ministry officials.
Russian media said preliminary investigation suggested that collapse of the roof over the Baumansky market in the northeast part of the capital was caused by snowfall in recent days.
News agencies and television reports said there were still believed to be around 15 people trapped inside the building though Interfax news agency, quoting a senior emergency situations ministry official, said it was possible that dozens were still inside.
The injured were rushed to hospital.
