Nairobi - Police in Nairobi, Kenya, are holding two Indians suspected of trafficking drugs and illegally possessing firearms.

On Friday, the officers raided a house in Loresho Estate where they arrested 34-year-old Zahid Iqbal Akberali Alarakyai and recovered two bars of hashish.

They also arrested 44-year-old Rehan Kantilal Shah, who led them to another house in Eastlands where they recovered 10 guns and 2 032 rounds of ammunition.

Nairobi News reports that the weapons belonged to Shah.

This comes amid reports that Nairobi tops the country in crime rate, with Daily Nation saying that the most common crimes reported in the city are assault and general stealing.
