ANC 'must rebuild in W Cape'
Johannesburg - Western Cape ANC chair Mcebisi Skwatsha said the party needs to rebuild its administrative and organisational capacity in the province, SABC news reported on Sunday.
Addressing delegates at the party's Provincial General Council (PGC) in Kraaifontein outside Cape Town, Skwatsha said they also need to ensure that in those municipalities in which they rule, service delivery is maximised and corruption exposed, the broadcaster said.
This was the first PGC of the ANC following the April general elections where the Democratic Alliance won with an outright majority in the province.
ANC leaders acknowledged the ANC had lost a lot of ground and that much hard work lay ahead.
