Bomber extradited to Morocco

Rabat - A man suspected of involvement in the 2003 suicide bombings in Casablanca, in which 33 people died, has been extradited from Spain to Morocco.
On Wednesday, Moroccan court officials said: "Aziz Banaich was extradited from Spain on Monday, and has since been interrogated by Moroccan police before appearing before an anti-terrorist investigating magistrate."
The officials said legal authorities in Rabat had issued an international arrest warrant for Benaich immediately after the bombings - five almost simultaneous blasts at foreign and Jewish sites.
Most of the dead, including 12 suicide bombers, were Moroccans.
Four Spaniards, three French nationals and an Italian were also killed.
Benaich is believed to be related to another Islamic fundamentalist, currently in a Moroccan prison after fighting in Afghanistan and Chechnya.
Last Saturday, the Spanish government authorised the extradition of Mohamed Larbi ben Sellam to Morocco.
He is suspected of being a member of a "terrorist organisation".
Ben Sellam was arrested near the Spanish city of Barcelona in June.
