Cargo plane crashes at Ghana airport

Accra - Witnesses say a cargo plane has crashed after attempting to take off from the international airport in Ghana's capital.

The crash happened on Saturday night in Accra at the Kotoka International Airport. Witnesses said the plane crashed through the airport's perimeter fence and hit a bus loaded with passengers on a nearby street.

It was unclear if there were any injuries. Police declined to immediately comment.

Witnesses said the plane was painted in Allied Cargo colours. A telephone number for the company could not be immediately found.

    Grossly over loaded or shoddy maintence of the aircraft etc.

    must the the bus drivers fault...maybe the bus was badly maintained and we know how many accidents busses cause.

      lol.. Aagg bra! Are you sure you wanted to say this?...lol, the bus is on the road, an airplane has to be by the airport or on the air.. Not by the road..
