Washington - The House panel investigating the deadly 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya, says longtime Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal will testify in closed session on June 16.

The committee issued a statement announcing that Blumenthal will give a deposition to the committee.

The House panel is investigating the fatal attacks and has pressed for Clinton, the Democratic presidential candidate, to testify.
