Zimbabwe's PM Morgan Tsvangirai has been criticised after telling a religious audience that he and President Robert Mugabe were chosen by God to lead the nation and that people should pray for them, a report says.

My comment was in reply to the article and not to instigate the debate on whether there is a God or not or why He allows suffering or whether Jesus is alive or not. This is not the place to debate it and from your comments I will deduct that you are not Christian and probably atheistic - I don't think a ranting from your side will change my faith and I don't think a sermon from my side will turn you into a believer. Disregarding your non - believe in God, He still believes in you and disregarding the fact that the leaders of Zimbabwe feel that they have the favour of God, the people of Zimbabwe is still loved by God and he will provide for them, even if it is only with fair judgement.
