Nairobi - Kenya's attorney general ordered on Wednesday that a former spy chief, ex-central bank governor and three others be charged with fraud in the $1bn Goldenberg graft scandal.
Amos Wako said in a statement charges would be brought against former intelligence head James Kanyotu, former central bank governor Eric Kotut, his deputy Eliphaz Riungu and former treasury permanent secretary Wilfred Karunga Koinange.
Businessman Kamlesh Pattni, alleged mastermind of Kenya's biggest fraud case, was also among those to be charged.
