Grenade found - Kenya PM evacuated
Nairobi - A spokesperson for Kenya's prime minister says the Kenyan leader has been evacuated from his office after a grenade was discovered in another part of the building.
Salim Lone said on Tuesday that Prime Minister Raila Odinga was advised to leave his office shortly after 13:00.
Deputy Police Spokesperson Charles Owino says a plumber checking the water system near the underground parking lot at Odinga's office building found the grenade behind a water tank.
Owino said the grenade was sent to bomb experts to check if it is live. He says police with sniffer dogs are also combing the office building to check for additional threats.
Owino says no other staff were evacuated from the offices.
