Lagos - Nigeria's official news agency says a court has sentenced four alleged Islamic extremists to life in prison for two bombings in 2012 that killed 19 people.

Prosecutors brought conspiracy and assault charges against the suspects, though Nigeria has strict new anti-terrorism laws that call for the death penalty for attackers that cause fatalities.
