Man murdered outside shebeen

Johannesburg - A 33-year old man was found stabbed to death outside a shebeen in Dutywa on Saturday, Eastern Cape police said.

"This morning at about 06:00, the body of a 33-year old man was found in town with multiple wounds from a sharp instrument," said Captain Lungisile Magama.

The man, who is from nearby Mputi village, was found by police outside a shebeen.

Magama said the man had been seen on Friday night in the company of a woman, and arguing with another man.

The investigation is ongoing and arrests are expected to be made soon, said Magama.
