Cape Town - Two women who reportedly went missing en route to Cape Town were
found unharmed at a relative's house in Durbanville, Western Cape
police said.
Captain William Reid said on Monday that 43-year-old Ingrid Louw
and 12-year-old Nicole Louw were accompanied by Mrs Louw's husband
on the Econolux bus which left Windhoek on Friday.
A man who was to have met the women in Cape Town, a Mr Dickman,
was not aware of this and he was also not informed of the bus
breaking down in Clanwilliam.
The Louws then decided to first visit relatives in Durbanville
before proceeding to Cape Town.
Dickman waited for the women at the bus stop in Cape Town and
when they were not on the bus, he reported them missing.
"It was all due to a misunderstanding," Reid said.
"They were all found unharmed."
