Pirates strike again

Beijing - A Hong Kong cargo ship was hijacked by pirates in the Gulf of Aden near the Yemen coast, Chinese state media reported the China Maritime Search and Rescue Centre as saying on Tuesday.

The cargo ship named "Delight" was carrying 25 crew members and 36 000 tons of wheat when it was attacked at 14:00 as it headed for the Bandar Abbas port of Iran, according the maritime centre, Xinhua said.

None of the crew is from Hong Kong or mainland China, Xinhua reported, without providing details of the nationalities on board.
