Rwandan pres reshuffles cabinet

Kigali - Rwandan President Paul Kagame has announced a major cabinet reshuffle, which sees the appointment of seven new ministers.
Bernard Makuza retains his post as prime minister, but Charles Murigande, a close aide to Kagame, was relieved of the foreign ministry and handed the new cabinet affairs portfolio. He was replaced by Rosemary Museminali.
The ministers of information, labour, education, infrastructure and agriculture were all removed from the line-up.
Among the newcomers are three women, notably Monique Mukamurisa who was given a new portfolio dealing with the country's integration in the East African Community and Louise Mushikiwabo, the new information minister.
The new line-up now consists of 21 ministers and six state ministers and includes eight women.
