London - Police investigating Britain's biggest cash robbery said on Friday they have arrested three women on suspicion of money laundering and handling stolen property.
A spokesperson for Kent police said the three were arrested in London on Thursday.
Four men and a woman were earlier charged in connection with the February 22 robbery of the Securitas depot in Tonbridge, Kent, southeast England, which netted more than &$163;53m.
Car dealer John Fowler, 60, has already been charged with conspiracy to rob, three counts of kidnapping the depot manager and his family, and handling stolen goods.
Car salesman Stuart Royle, 47, unemployed Jetmir Bucpapa, 24, and 33-year-old roofer Lea Rusha, have been charged with conspiracy to rob.
Hairdresser Kim Shackleton, 38, from Maidstone, has been charged with handling stolen goods.
The five, who are all from Kent, are due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on June 12 for a plea and directions hearing.
Kent police have said that more than a third of the cash taken has now been recovered.
