Kitui - A Kenyan couple who died three days apart was buried in the same grave in their home in Kitui County on Saturday.

Malonza Ngambi and Elizabeth Mukeli had been married for 76 years before their death, MediaMax reported, adding that a huge crowd gathered at the graveside to witness the burial of the love birds.

Ngambi was 101 at the time of his death, and Mukeli 94 .

Their neighbour said their life was characterised by love and they were inseparable.

According to Citizen TV, the couple was survived by six children, 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
