Zimbabwe bus crash - 19 dead

Chinese vice premier Wang Yang has urged Zimbabwe to ensure peace and political stability ahead of elections this year.
Harare - At least 19 people died on Thursday when a bus and a haulage truck crashed into each other along the highway linking Zimbabwe's two main cities, state radio reported.
"The accident occurred this morning when a Chawasarira bus... burst its right front tyre and side-swiped a haulage truck going the opposite direction, killing 18 people on the spot," the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) said.
The broadcaster said another bus also overturned while trying to avoid a second crash, killing one person at the same spot.
A police spokesperson told ZBC 20 people had been taken to hospital in Harare.
Earlier this month, 13 people people died in a bus accident in eastern Zimbabwe, two days after 19 passengers were killed in a similar accident in the country's north.
