29 Bafana chosen for Brazil camp

THE 29-man Bafana Bafana squad to feature in a month-long training

camp in Brazil was announced in Durban today by the national head coach Carlos

Alberto Parreira.


Goalkeepers: Emile Baron

(SuperSport United), Moeneeb Josephs (Orlando Pirates) and Itumeleng Khune

(Kaizer Chiefs);


Defenders: Matthew Booth, Siboniso Gaxa,

Siyanda Xulu and Innocent Mdledle (all Mamelodi Sundowns), Bongani Khumalo

(SuperSport), Thabo Nthethe (Bloemfontein Celtic), Siyabonga Sangweni (Golden

Arrows) and Lucas Thwala (Pirates);


Midfielders: Franklyn Cale, Surprise

Moriri and Lebohang Mokoena (all Sundowns), Daylon Claasen (Ajax Amsterdam, the

Netherlands), Lance Davids (Ajax Cape Town), Andile Jali and Teko Modise (both

Pirates), Thanduyise Khuboni (Arrows), Daine Klate (SuperSport), Reneilwe

Letsholonyane and Siphiwe Tshabalala (both Chiefs) and Tlou Segolela

(Celtic);


Strikers: Kermit Erasmus (Excelsior

Rotterdam, the Netherlands), Thulasizwe Mbuyane and Gert Schalkwyk (both

Pirates), Katlego Mphela (Sundowns), Richard Henyekane (Arrows) and Thulani

Serero (Ajax CTN).
