‘Years of hard work’
“At campus radio I hosted everything from the Top 30 to the afternoon drive show and more recently the breakfast show for the last three years,” says Rob about his new gig.

“I’m incredibly excited to be joining the team at 5FM. It’s an absolute dream come true for me and it represents the culmination of years of hard work.

“The opportunity to be able to ‘live’ a brand like 5FM is an immense privilege and I cannot wait to share my own relaxed, fun and informative style on the new 9am -12pm show.”

Joining Rob behind the mic will be show contributor Fikile ‘Fix’ Moeti, who returns to 5FM after an 18-month gap to pursue her studies overseas.

“5FM will always be family to me,” says Fix.

“For the last year I’ve been overseas studying business entrepreneurship at an arts campus in America. I can’t tell you how glad I am to be back home. I’m very excited to be working with Rob Forbes.”
