I do not know Khanyi, but only through articles and a few interviews. I am impressed by her work and wish to praise her for the hard work and the drive to develop and grow businesses to another level.

It is very sad to read articles where people always drive issues to racism (Mthethwa's remark) and jealousy (Mr F word).

When people start raising concerns about the National Empowerment Forum’s (NEF) R34.1 million funding and she immediately starts pinning that to racism makes me very uncomfortable.

As a CEO, I expected her response to be: the mandate of the NEF is this and according to the mandate, the process of application and so forth, we the forum are in a position to indicate the process was executed professionally, legally and according to all policies of the forum.

If awarding R34.1 million to open a luxury shop is in line with the mandate of the forum and processes followed are in line with its policy, then there is nothing illegal. Mthethwa must understand forum money actually belongs to the taxpayer and different rules may apply.

To the gentleman who claims jealousy: please brother, you are indeed beginning to sound like our politicians. People will ask questions as this money is not the bank’s, but the public’s.

To Jessie: Mama, you are one of a kind and for the part you played for the struggle, you remain my role model. I am simply disappointed at the article you posted. I am however, worried about a few issues you raise, which are presented as though you are bitter.

» you seem to be sure about what transpired in that office when the two did what they did and I really wonder if you were a witness;

» during President Jacob Zuma's rape trial, members of the ANC Women’s League belittled the woman allegedly raped by Zuma and went out to indicate how bad she was, and how good the President was; and

» I am startled by the fact that both yourself and Vavi are leaders in South Africa. Isn’t this a matter both of you can discuss on the side?
