Bill Clinton writes preface for spy novel

2011-03-09 07:27

New York – Bill Clinton has entered the spying game.

The former president, whose memoir sold millions of copies, has written a preface for his friend Thomas Caplan’s The Spy Who Jumped Off the Screen.

The book is a thriller about movie star and former intelligence officer Ty Hunter, and his race to keep nuclear warheads out of the wrong hands.

Clinton, who roomed with Caplan when both were at Georgetown University, praises the novel as a “stylish, involving, utterly contemporary puzzle”.

Viking, an imprint of Penguin Group (USA), announced yesterday that the book would come out in early 2012.
