Can Chippa stay top of the log?

2014-08-12 17:03

Surprise Absa Premiership log leaders Chippa United will be up for their next test on the road tonight.

The newly promoted team travels to Atteridgeville, Pretoria, for a date with SuperSport United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in a 7.30pm kick-off.

The game will mark back-to-back fixtures against Tshwane clubs for Chippa as they will host University of Pretoria next, in Port Elizabeth, on August 26.

Chippa are the Premiership log leaders after they became the only side that scored more than one goal and kept a clean sheet on the opening weekend of the new league campaign last week.

They beat Platinum Stars 2-0.

Bidvest Wits will host University of Pretoria at Bidvest Stadium in the only other fixture tonight, also at 7.30pm.

Can Chippa pull another surprise? The answer is in Pretoria tonight.
