Cold conditions to continue

The cold conditions leaving teeth chattering in most parts of the

country would continue, WeatherSA said.

Black frost was expected over the Free State, southern Gauteng,

Mpumalanga highveld, southern North West, northern interior of the Eastern Cape,

western Kwazulu-Natal and extreme eastern parts of the Northern Cape

today.

Very cold conditions were expected over the southern and eastern

Free State, southern Highveld of Mpumalanga, Eastern Cape interior and western

interior of KwaZulu-Natal.

The Western Cape was expected to be very cold in the interior. In

the western half of the Eastern Cape isolated morning showers were expected

along the coast.

KwaZulu-Natal would also be cold, with isolated afternoon showers

along the coast.
