Crusing with J9: When you love your car to bits

2010-02-05 13:23

BEING in a relationship means you know your significant other

pretty well – every curve and love handle. It also means you are good at

interpreting the sighs and groans. That is exactly how it should be with your

car.

If you haven’t figured it out by now, a car has mood swings just

like a woman – or man.

You need to pay attention to it or else it is going to give you

nothing but problems.

Know its body, like you would know that of your partner’s. You need

to know if you left that love-bite on her body or if someone else did.

One sure way to know is having your car washed at least once a

week.

Look at your car every day like when you look at a woman before you

take her out on a date. Run your fingers over its body so you know when there’s

a new scratch or dent.

Listen to the rattles and squeaks. Just turn down your music and

take a good listen to where the sound is coming from.

You need to be able to tell when something is wrong or if it’s just

one of those days it is feeling neglected because you haven’t washed it in a

month.

We take our frustrations out on them when we are in a bad mood and,

when we are in a good mood, they get overloaded with our friends or shopping

bags.

They take us to work every single day or wherever we need to be

without ever complaining.

They should be loved and cared for, because they are doing the

same for you.
