Fashion: Happy feet by Snoop Dogg

2014-07-28 18:45

Just when we thought Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion was all out of tricks, the old dawg has managed another.

While other celebrities are making perfume, clothing and apps, Snoop is a man set apart and has been working on a bespoke range of socks.

Inspired by Snoop’s love of art, the socks are actual paintings that were made into what he calls wearable art.

If you’re unsure about wearing Snoop-designed socks, the good news is that it is not a solo project. He has teamed up with Swedish sock company Happy Socks.

The veteran rapper says: “Sometimes the music in my life doesn’t explain exactly what I’m going through, so [painting] is another piece of the puzzle. It’s a piece of Snoop that we can take with us forever.”

The collection has been dubbed The Art of Inspiration, and will be unveiled on November 1.
