Fest treads trad and rad paths

AMONG the must-see stuff at this year’s festival are:

  • John Kani in Othello (Wits Amphitheatre April 21 to 24 at 7.30pm).
  • Staceyann Chin the ­Jamaican slam poet who will be performing at the festival’s opening (Great Hall ­Piazza from 7.30pm).
  • Greg Homan’s Pride & Prejudice (Wits Downstairs Theatre April 21 to 24 at 7.30pm).
  • Gina Schmukler’s Songs for a New World (Wits ­Theatre April 21 to 24 at 7.30pm); and
  • Thembinkosi Goniwe ­curates two exhibitions, ­Narratives in Colour: Vincent Baloyi and Visible Intimacy: Zanele Muholi and Nandipha Mntambo (both housed at the Substation from April 21 to 24 from 10am to 10pm).
