2015-01-09 16:17

Three South African national teams will be in action tomorrow in a rare bumper treat for football fans, says the SA Football Association.

The men’s senior side, the U20s and the U17s all take part in various friendly matches as they prepare for their respective CAF tournaments.

“This is going to be a defining year for all of our national teams and tomorrow’s hectic programme will set the tone for what fans should expect in 2015,” said Safa president Danny Jordaan.

Bafana Bafana take part in the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Equatorial Guinea from January 17 to February 8. Amajita will play in the CAF African Youth tournament in Senegal in March, while Amajimbos compete in the youth competition in Niger next month.

Amajimbos will set the ball rolling in tomorrow’s hectic programme when they face their Zambian counterparts at 3pm at Nkoloma Stadium just outside Lusaka.

The U20’s play a Qatar select side at Arabi Stadium in Doha, Qatar before Bafana Bafana round off the day’s programme with a clash against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the Gabonese capital of Libreville. The match takes place at Stade de L’amitie at 9pm.
