Four arrested in Lonehill drug bust

2011-10-17 07:35

Four Nigerian nationals were arrested and cocaine with a street value of R5 million confiscated in a raid on a Lonehill house in northern Johannesburg this morning, police said.

The men were allegedly manufacturing cocaine inside the house, said Captain Pinky Tsinyane.

Police had received a tip-off from residents in the area who were suspicious about the activity at the house.

The house was raided at 4am today, said Tsinyane.

All four would appear in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court later this week on charges of possession and dealing.
