Glamour couple splits

2010-06-17 11:28

In the midst of the soccer madness engulfing the country, former

Moroka Swallows player Ryan Botha has split from Natasha Shannon, his fianceé

and the mother of his three-month-old son.

This comes after reports in heat magazine last week, which showed

Botha partying it up Mark Fish’s ex-wife Louis as she rubbed his six-pack.

Earlier this year City Press interviewed Shannon about her

relationship with the soccer player who was recently sold to Platinum Stars. In

the interview, Shannon gushed about her sexy then fiance and said: “He is the

complete package.”

The glamorous pair met in their teens but dated for two years

before Botha popped the question. The couple released a joint statement, saying:

“We will always be a part of each other’s lives due to our beautiful child

together, unfortunately our relationship has come to an end and we would

appreciate this time for privacy.

“We will always love each other dearly, however, due to work and

pressures from both sides we feel in order to maintain a good parental

relationship we need to go our separate ways.”

Shannon has relocated to Durban to be with her family.
