Hekpoort body confirmed as that of Jordaan

A burnt body found at an apparent accident scene in Hekpoort last month has been identified as slain Teazers’ boss Lolly Jackson’s lawyer, police said today.

Lieutenant-Colonel Lungelo Dlamini said forensic reports confirmed this week that the body was that of Ian Jordaan.

Jordaan was reportedly kidnapped on September 20 and was forced to pay R1.8 million that he had been holding for Jackson.
He was involved in wrapping up the estate of the strip club owner after his murder in May last year.

Jordaan’s body was found on top of his burnt out bakkie under a bridge in Hekpoort near Krugersdorp on September 21.

He was burned beyond recognition and his teeth had been removed, delaying police identification.

Two weeks ago, police found the body of Jackson’s business partner Mark Andrews next to the R59 road in Brackendowns, Alberton.

He had been shot in the head and his hands were tied behind his back with cable ties.

Andrews was reportedly suspected of involvement in the kidnapping and possible murder of Jordaan.

It is believed that, before he was murdered, he had planned to hand himself over to the police in connection with the murder of Jordaan.

Dlamini said investigations into both murder cases continued.
