After the Hansa Legends concert in Newtown, it looks like the beer wars have been taken to the stage as the brands try to outdo each other in the mega bash stakes.

Hot off the heels of the Brenda Fassie hologram show, comes the Castle Lite Extra Cold Live in three cities.

Music fans from the three Capitals of Cold – Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban – have spoken; and their chosen line-ups of seven acts have been decided and approved by the “mayors”, Loyiso Gola, Trevor Gumbi and Poppy Ntshongwana.

In Johannesburg, Khuli Chana, Lulo Cafe and DJ Zinhle can be expected while Durban will boast homegrown talent Big Nuz with Slikour and Roger Goode on the bill.

The Mother City will stick to its homeboys DJ Ready D and Driemanskap with AKA lending his Jozi swagger to the Capetonians. The hit maker of Jealousy and Kontrol, AKA will be the MC in all three cities with the venues transformed into a glacial settings for that ice experience.

Tickets are already available at Computicket.
