How to get an FHM Sexiest Woman to marry you: make her laugh

2013-07-25 13:39

Pro surfer Jordy Smith and his sexy model girlfriend, Lyndall Jarvis, got engaged in California.

Smith is ranked fourth in the world and represented South Africa at the 2013 Vans US Open Of Surfing at Huntington Beach in Southern California this week.

He boasted of two victories yesterday: the first when he earned his place in the competition’s next round, and the second when he popped the question to Jarvis and she said yes.

The blonde model regularly sets pulses racing in slinky lingerie, and was crowned FHM South Africa’s Sexiest Woman in the World in 2009.

She said Smith stole her heart because he makes her laugh.

The couple met at a horse race in Cape Town two years ago.

Jarvis told “He actually asked me out a couple times and I declined every time, until eventually he asked me to give him just one date, and one chance to change my mind. One date later, we were never apart again. He made me laugh. Every girl wants that.”

Zigzag Magazine reported yesterday: “Jordy won again later in the day, when his better half, Lyndall Jarvis, said ‘yes’ after he posed the question of lifelong partnership.”

Smith posted on Facebook: “Just asked my best friend and the love of my life Lyndall Jarvis to be my wife. The best day of my life #shesaidyes”.
