The parched town of Grootfontein in Namibia prayed at the weekend while their pastor, Boet Prinsloo, gained a new son-in-law?–?Adam Levine, the frontman of Maroon 5.

Boet Prinsloo and his wife, Magda, booked into the Hotel El Ganzo in Mexico to watch their daughter, lingerie model Behati (25), exchange vows with Levine (35) at an A-list wedding party yesterday.

A few of Behati’s relatives travelled from Springs and Swakopmund for the ceremony and rubbed shoulders with a gaggle of Victoria’s Secret models and Hollywood heart-throb Leonardo DiCaprio, among others.

The Daily Mail reported that the pair booked out the 72-bedroom hotel, which overlooks the Sea of Cortez, and that guests included Behati’s fellow Victoria’s Secret Angel model Candice Swanepoel, from the KwaZulu-Natal town of Mooi River, and make-up artist to the stars, Fulvia Farfoli.

DiCaprio was expected to attend with his girlfriend, Victoria’s Secret model Toni Garrn.

Boet Prinsloo chronicled his trip from New York to Los Angeles and then on to Mexico City on Facebook.

On Friday he wrote: “More good friends have arrived. Today we’re all flying to Mexico!”

Friends in Grootfontein responded, saying they were praying for the couple and sending their best regards to beautiful Behati.

“Uncle Boet must travel safely. Tomorrow is the big day when you gain a son-in-law. Our best regards to Aunt Magda and to Behati,” wrote a friend in Afrikaans.

Hotel El Ganzo in Mexico overlooks the Sea of Cortez and provided a beautiful backdrop for Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine’s wedding.
