Motoring briefs – New C63AMG packs big punch

2012-06-22 12:40

Mercedes-Benz South Africa has announced the arrival of the most powerful C-Class in the range.

The C63AMG Coupé Black Series has looks to kill, brute-force power and a stance that will make your jaw drop.

And, for R1 425 000 it should make lunch too. Its brutal 6.3-litre V8 engine grunts out 380kw of power and 620nm of torque.

It goes from 0-100km/h in just 4.2 seconds with a limited top speed of 300 km/h.

Extra enhancements include: AMG aerodynamics, a track package, exterior carbon-fibre and performance media all costing between R20 000 and R80 000.
