Nonhle goes BOOM!

2011-07-20 13:49

Nonhle Thema may have 52 000 followers, but her Twitter friends seem to be few and far between.

The Twittersphere has welcomed the news that Thema would “no longer be the face of Vuzu”, with many relishing the opportunity to use her tweets to poke fun at her.

A favourite reply to her announcement was “BOOM” – a word Thema uses in almost every tweet.

In her now-infamous Twitter rants, she often used the phrase “sit down”, something many were now happy to tell her to do.

In a spat with Yfm DJs on 8 July, Thema tweeted: “I dare any broke Yfm DJ to step up to me ... if you are broke sit down or i wll give you rent and food money ... LOL (sic).”

Vuzu TV is yet to make a comment on Thema’s announcement.

Some of the tweets:
“She is a lunatic. An ego on legs.”
– Paul Freathy

“Now you know why I said she needs an African solution?? (sic)”
– Kabelo Pududu

“Let her sit her rich ass down.”
– Botshelo Ditsele

– Sibs Macd

– Mathoba Ferguson

“The mighty Nonhle has fallen! Amen.”
– Tumi Tswai-Keikantse
