Shakes Mashaba names Bafana starting XI

Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba has announced his starting XI to face Cameroon in a warm-up match tonight.

Dean Furman makes a return to the starting line-up after missing out against Zambia due to his late arrival, while Andile Jali has also recovered from an injury and will start.

Bernard Parker was rewarded with a place in the starting line-up after impressing against Zambia and replaces Bongani Ndulula.

Defender Patrick Phungwayo has been ruled out of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations due to a knee injury.

Bafana’s media officer, Matlhomola Morake, confirmed the news via Twitter.

Mashaba said he will name the captain shortly before the match starts.

The match in Libreville kicks off at 21:00 (SA time) today.
