Tears of joy reigned supreme during last night’s episode of Mzansi Magic’s Our Perfect Wedding as the young couple broke down during the last part of their beautiful wedding.

When the show went to a commercial break with a clip of the couple crying, I was convinced something terrible would be announced during the ceremony, but moments later I learnt that emotions had overcome the 21-year-old couple Mlondi and Mbali.

The bride and the groom later said their feelings were hard to define but they had both been overwhelmed by the big day. The young couple from Pietermaritzburg gave social media something to comment about, and started a hastag, #ourperfectwedding. Everything looked pretty impressive – Mlondi and Mbali had made sure that décor, flowers and the cake were delivered on time and to their high standards. While some viewers felt that the couple were too young to get married, others said there was nothing wrong with it.

Former Y FM DJ and comedian, Ashifashaba “?@ashifashabba said: “but it’s not a funeral. Why cry like that guys ...”
