The Brazilian scam

2009-10-27 12:12

It seems the architects of the Nigerian scam have been beaten flat

at their game. This because they plan poorly and are less strategic.

Carlos Parreira must be forgiven because his issue was sensitive,

his wife was sick when he left Bafana Bafana when we needed him the most. I’m

not fooled, Parreira’s wife could fall sick tomorrow; she could fall sick

towards the end of February 2010.

Am I insensitive about this? Yes of course I’m insensitive.

Was Parreira not insensitive when he gave us one of his local

coaches by the name of Santana, who is completely clueless?

Parreira knew that Santana couldn’t possibly achieve anything, in

fact he knew that Santana was going to frustrate us. Why would Parreira refer us

to a competent and internationally seasoned coach who could have proved him

wrong and prevented what I call Back By Popular Demand. What a scam.

I wonder who else is benefiting from Santana and Parreira’s fat

salaries. I refuse to accept that no one in Safa is benefiting. I wonder if

Parreira was receiving anything from Santana’s R1.4 million pay.

Something is not right, the question is what?

Parreira is not coming back to Bafana Bafana to win the World Cup.

He is here to collect some more millions.

Wouldn’t you just love to be in his shoes?
