Dear EFF/Julius Malema

I write to you as a concerned young black and proud South African.

When the Economic Freedom Fighters was formed the majority of the youth was happy that for once in this country we would have a party that spoke our language, “the youth language”, regardless of race; leaders who would see this world through our eyes as we see it; leaders who knew that the future of this country lay in our hands; leaders who would fight for this youth and not mislead it.

I remember the time when excitement took over me, I even swore to family and friends that my X belonged to the EFF and I would shoot and kill for you like you promised President Jacob Zuma. Little did I know I was shooting myself in the foot, setting myself up for big disappointment.

When I look at EFF the ideas are there but with no vision and most importantly lacking leadership. Great leaders don’t just wake up one morning and decide to lead people; you are either a born leader or you go to school to be a leader. Neither of those two qualities exist in the EFF Party.

Dressing like labourers and domestic workers to appeal to the third class is so pathetic. You guys talk about poverty like you guys really know what it is. We live and breathe poverty while you guys use us to get to the top and live a fancy life.

You guys are destroying something that took our forefathers so many years to build, unity in South Africa.

Your current behaviour is making me look at Renaldo Kleynhans and Sergio Pretorius as coloured and white people instead of my friends and fellow South Africans.

Even a blind or illiterate person like me can see that you guys are starting something that you won’t be able to handle and that’s dividing this beautiful country. These are signs of a World War.

Is this the future and vision you have for the next generation and this country?
