Court testimony this week gave the world a glimpse into the secret life of Oscar Pistorius?–?one filled with speeding cars, two-timing love affairs and an enduring fascination with firearms.

Friday’s testimony by Pistorius’ ex-girlfriend, Samantha Taylor, revealed the latest in a string of steamy blonde models romantically linked to Pistorius?– Anastassia Khozissova.

Taylor testified that Pistorius cheated on her with Khozissova in July 2012.

This was four months before he cheated on her again with Reeva Steenkamp at the SA Sports Awards on November 14 2012.

This spelt the end of their 18-month relationship.

It was the same month that the London Olympics began.

“It was his London trip, but I think he was in New York,” a tearful Taylor told the court shortly before it was forced to adjourn for the first of her two emotional breakdowns.

Other testimony showed that when he was away from the world of international supermodels and tournaments at St Andrews golf course in Scotland, Pistorius was mixing with some less-than-savoury characters.

Professional boxer Kevin Lerena testified that Pistorius’ friend, Darren Fresco, passed a Glock 27 pistol to the athlete under a table at Tashas Restaurant in Melrose Arch, Johannesburg, in January last year.

Fresco, boyfriend of Steenkamp’s best friend Gina Myers, whose Twitter profile reads, “If It’s got Wheels or a Skirt it’s Gonna Cost You Money”, moved in Pistorius’ circles.

Lerena testified that Fresco told Pistorius there was a bullet in the chamber before he accidentally fired the gun and “took the rap” for the athlete.

Later this week, an observer wrote on Fresco’s Facebook profile, which has no privacy settings: “Why taking a loaded gun into Tasha’s Darren, did you feel threatened by the butternut salad [sic]?”

Taylor testified that Pistorius kept his “gun on him all the time” and he had armed himself with it at least twice while she was with him.

She also said she had travelled with Pistorius to sign some papers for a new gun –?the same day he fired a gun through the sunroof of his friend Justin Divaris’ car, after a day out at the Vaal River.

Divaris, CEO of the supercar dealer Daytona Group, used to lend Pistorius a variety of top-end luxury cars, including an Aston Martin in which he went on holiday to Cape Town with Steenkamp, and a McLaren.

Taylor testified that police stopped them because Fresco was driving “very fast”.

A police officer asked Pistorius to step out of the vehicle and emptied the chamber of his gun which made Pistorius “very angry” and he shouted at the policeman.

Pistorius’ lawyer Advocate Barry Roux said his client would deny that this ever happened.

Taylor became emotional when she spoke of the end of their relationship.

Although Roux maintained that Pistorius and Taylor had broken up when he took Steenkamp to the sports awards, Taylor said they had only been experiencing problems.

She said that they had been at Sun City together just a week earlier.
