Top musos for Drum music festival

2012-05-31 13:50

Some of the country’s top musical talents are set to perform at the Drum Beat festival.

Artists such as Zahara, Toya Delazy and Sibongile Khumalo are expected to perform their hits at the annual concert tomorrow and on Saturday.

The festival takes place in Ekurhuleni, Johannesburg, at the Birchwood Hotel and showcases cross-genre artists on two separate stages.

“The programme will be predominantly jazz-oriented with a twist of Afro-pop and dance music.

“An added bonus is HHP’s performance during the Amstel Golden Hour followed by German collective Jazzanova featuring Paul Randolph on Saturday’s main stage,” the organisers said.

Tickets are available at ticketbreak.co.za for R250 for a day pass.
