At the time of writing this letter, the confirmed number of people who died during the collapse of the guesthouse of Nigerian Bishop TB Joshua stood at 115. Eighty-four of them were South Africans.

The first question I want to ask is: If Joshua is really a prophet, why didn’t he foresee the fatal collapse of his guesthouse?

It was the same TB Joshua who failed to heal an SA rugby player, who later died of liver cancer. A question I have to all those South African victims of the collapsed building is why did they have to go to a foreign land chasing after questionable and unproven miracles when we have our own replicas of Bishop TB Joshua?

I mean, the entire country knows about the likes of Dr Nene, Mbhoro and Bishop Zondo. TB Joshua is running a cult that has made him a multimillionaire, and is making money out of people who are naive and lack (spiritual) wisdom.

The last question I have is for the Bishop himself. Why is he not coming forward and offering financial assistance to the victims of his poorly engineered building? All he did was shift the blame to an unknown diabolical source he failed to clearly identify, as one would expect a prophet to be able to do. What kind of a man of God is he who has no remorse and compassion?

I think TB Joshua is just a charlatan doing white-collar crime in the name of God.

Was sending a military aeroplane to repatriate the injured church members from Nigeria a governmental decision, as we know that it has financial implications for taxpayers? As this was not a national event and the fact that TB Joshua’s church is a nongovernmental organisation, who is going to pay?

I was healed several times while sleeping. In a dream I saw an army of angels taking away my sickness.

As long as there are gullible people, charlatans like this self-proclaimed “prophet” TB Joshua will thrive and accumulate untold wealth. They prey on the weak, the gullible and the naive. Which divine power instilled in them the ability to heal and perform miracles?

A power of their own making which they use to abuse and commit religious fraud, yet there will always be idiots who will attend and pay homage at the altars of these false prophets. So sad but true.

We have no right to judge “prophet” TB Joshua because Jesus said in Matthew 7:1: “Judge not that you be not judged”, but he also warned against “false prophets” in Matthew 24:4-28.

Prophet TB Joshua is an anointed man of God with multiple immeasurable public international success stories. Every reproach against him falls into God’s eyes and ears. This only serves to fortify his God-given spiritual affluence.

If TB Joshua is a true prophet, why could he not prophesy the oncoming collapse of his building? It sounds as if the high number of people who visit his church are South Africans with high education and good standing in the community.

This is a shameful situation.

The word of God says the Kingdom of God is within each and every person, regardless of geographical position and race.

It is God who heals, not showmanship.

Faith healers like TB Joshua are genuine, though some are not.

Faith healing outcomes hinge on the recipient’s faith, unlike in sangoma and medical healing, which depend on a one-way prescription.

You forgot to highlight success stories.

These people are bogus. They use strong muti that sometimes needs people’s blood. I hope God punishes them for their evil deeds.
