Yolanda Cuba takes strategic post at Vodacom

2014-09-01 19:35

Vodacom has hired Yolanda Cuba as chief officer: strategy and business development.

Cuba, who is best known as the former CEO of Mvelaphanda, Tokyo Sexwale’s investment company, was more recently the strategy and business support director at SAB - the local arm of SABMiller.

Cuba was a non-executive director of Vodacom but will be brought in full time from November 1.

Cuba was well known when she was at Mvelaphanda - her main job being to wind down the company and its many investments. Since then, she has maintained a low profile at SAB.
