‘You people make me f***ing sick’

2012-07-17 12:38

Los Angeles – Sylvester Stallone’s nephew has blamed the actor for his son’s death.

Edd Filiti – the son of the Rocky star’s half-sister Toni Ann – has vented his anger at the 66-year-old actor and his wife Jennifer Flavin, claiming they neglected Sage Stallone (36), who was found unresponsive at his Studio City apartment in Los Angeles on Friday, and says they “don’t care” about his passing.

Referring to Sylvester not returning Sage’s call when he rang to wish his father happy birthday recently, Edd wrote on his Facebook page: “What did he do wrong, say happy birthday? Neither you (Stallone’s wife Jennifer Flavin) or he could return a phone call, which is all he wanted, his father.

“I know you don’t care what happened, but you’ll care when you’re squirming under the burning magnifying glass of public opinion. You people make me f***ing sick.”

‘Tore this family apart’

Edd, 18, also claims Jennifer – who has been married to Sylvester since 1997 – “tore this family apart” when she tied the knot with the actor.

In the post, which has since been deleted, he continued: “Jennifer Flavin, you won. You tore this family apart and got your trophy, Congrats!

“Like you told my family, ‘I’m Sly’s family now, he doesn’t (need) you anymore.’ Lets see how much he needs you after this. (sic)”

‘No greater pain’

Sylvester has been left devastated after Sage – his son from his first marriage to Sasha Czack – passed away, saying there is “no greater pain” than losing a child and “begging” for the actor’s memory to be “left in peace”.

He said: “When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain. Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son’s memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha.

“This agonising loss will be felt for the rest of our lives. Sage was our first child and the centre of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son’s memory and soul left in peace.”

An initial autopsy on Sage’s body has proved inconclusive and the cause of his death is not expected to be known for up to two months until toxicology tests have been completed.
