AB, Kohli show class

DELHI — Jaydev Unadkat claimed five wickets as the Royal Challengers Bangalore beat the Delhi Daredevils by four runs in their IPL encounter at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi yesterday.

Virat Kohli scored 99 and shared in a 93-run fifth-wicket partnership with Proteas captain AB de Villiers, who was undefeated on 32, as the Royal Challengers totalled 183/4 after being sent into bat.

Delhi fell four runs short, ending on 179 for seven, thanks to the 21-year old left-arm seamer, Unadkat, who ended with career-best figures of 4-0-25-5.

De Villiers faced just 17 balls for his undefeated 32, with two fours and two sixes, while Kohli smashed 10 fours and four sixes in his 58-ball innings, being run out off the last ball of the innings, in trying to get his century.
