2015-02-28 00:00

A DOCUMENT titled “Israel Geopolitical Country and Intelligence Assessment” released on October 2009 said a former Mossad (Israeli secret service) agent was in constant contact with the South African Jewish Board of Deputies, “a very well organised body in the country with their offices spread around the country”.

SAJBD chairperson, Durban-based Mary Kluk said the allegation had “bemused” her and the South African Israeli ambassador Arthur Lenk.

“We have access to the Israeli government through our embassy and security through the South African Police Service like any other South African.” — WWR.
