2011-03-18 00:00

THE Witness Woz’ophola Corporate Soccer Challenge is back.

Companies are invited to register their soccer teams for the event, which will be held at the Dalry Park Sport Grounds (Camps Drift) on April 16 and 17. The tournament is organised by The Witness in conjunction with uMgungundlovu District Municipality.

The winners will walk away with a trophy, medals and R3 000 prize money, while runners-up will get R1 500 and medals.

There are also exciting prizes to be won by spectators, like DStv decoders and much more.

The organisers are also planning a picnic on the Sunday. “We want patrons to sit back and enjoy the beautiful game with their families. We will have top DJs to entertain people with music,” said Sbonga Shelembe from The Witness.

Registration costs R900 per team and is open to private companies and government departments only.

The closing date for registration is Friday, April 8. To register, e-mail yelloevents@gmail.com or call event organiser Mbuso Madondo on 082 056 2693 or Shelembe on 033 355 1111.
