NATALIE Imbruglia has blasted people who wear fur.

The Torn hitmaker, who narrates a new anti-fur video released by animal rights organisation People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), has urged fashion lovers to turn their backs on animal skins, insisting it is a brutal trade.

She said: “There is no kind way to rip the skin off animals’ backs. Anyone who wears any fur shares the blame for the … gruesome deaths of millions of animals.”

KIM Kardashian has received death threats from Justin Bieber fans. The socialite has revealed the teen pop star’s fans, nicknamed “The Bliebers”, went “insane” and threatened to kill her after photographs emerged of them frolicking in the sea together.

She said: “‘The Bliebers’, they threatened to kill me. I really got death threats, it was insane. But he told them to back off and they did. I think it was all like a joke.”

The pair had been appearing in a secret shoot when images of them together emerged, sparking rumours they were an item. However, Kardashian (29) thinks it is “ridiculous” people thought she could have been dating the 16-year-old singer.

She added in an interview on British station Radio 1: “Is that not ridiculous that people thought that Justin Bieber and I were on vacation together, on a romantic vacation, in the Bahamas and I just happened to wear a gown as my swimsuit, and red lips and he’s dressed in a suit in the ocean? There’s another shot where I was wearing a full trench coat with lingerie on underneath, thigh highs and heels walking to the beach. Seriously, who would walk to the beach like that?”

Although the pair get on well, Kardashian insists the age gap is just too big for them to ever date. “The Biebs and I are cool. We have met a few times for all that work stuff, and I think it’s just got taken way out of context.

PENELOPE Cruz’s scenes in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides had to be “tweaked” so as not to reveal her baby bump.

The Spanish actress revealed earlier this week she is four and a half months pregnant with husband Javier Bardem, and producers of the pirate adventure film were said to initially be worried as to whether they could schedule her role as Blackbeard’s daughter in the film before she began to show.

A source told LifeandStylemag.com: “The film company was worried about scheduling because of Penelope’s pregnancy, but tweaked some of the scenes to make it work.”

Sources said that Cruz’s character in the film, Angelica, becomes romantically involved with Johnny Depp’s character Captain Jack Sparrow.

NICK Cannon serenades his wife Mariah Carey with her own songs, but the America’s Got Talent host, who married the Hero hitmaker in 2008, always ends up ruining them.

When asked if he ever sings to Mariah, he said: “Absolutely, and I am the worst singer ever and I try to serenade her with her own songs and I mess up all the words and she just laughs.”

The TV presenter also spoke about the vacancy for judges on American Idol — following the departures of Simon Cowell, Ellen Degeneres and Kara DioGuardi — and he thinks Carey would be perfect for a spot on the panel of the pop star search show.

He told U.S. TV show Extra: “She’s a voice technician, people don’t really understand how her vocal chords work and how hard she actually works at it, so a show like that would give her a great opportunity to show people what it really takes to be one of the world’s best singers.”

OPRAH Winfrey’s trip to Australia will reportedly be funded by the country’s government.

The talk show host, who announced to her studio audience on Monday that she planned to mark her final season on the programme by flying them Down Under, has sparked fury after it emerged the Australian tourist board are planning to splash out more than $2,3 million of taxpayers’ money to pay for Oprah’s 300 guests to enjoy an eight-day all-expenses-paid trip.
