Charity: East Coast Radio’s Winter Warmth 2008

2008-06-16 00:00

East Coast Radio’s Winter Warmth 2008 campaign has begun.

Sponsored by iTalk Cellular, East Coast Radio will once again embark on its annual initiative to blanket the less fortunate in our province during the season’s two coldest months.

Facilitators Rotary, Durban Deliveries and Red Cross Air Mercy Services ensure that the donations get to the right people.

Last year, individuals, companies and schools contributed towards a collection of 40 037 blankets, valued at R1 601 480.

East Coast Radio has appealed for donations of a blanket or cash to purchase new blankets during the nine-week campaign.

Blankets can be dropped off at East Coast Radio, iTalk Cellular branches or Durban Deliveries.

Online donations can be made at www.ecr.co.za.

Cash donations can be made directly into the following bank account: East Coast Radio Winter Warmth, Absa, Umhlanga Ridge, Account: 912 790 6124, Branch: 632 005, Reference: Winter Warmth 2008.

For more information contact Naz Khan or Anusha Timul at 031 570 9495 or naz / anusha@ecr.co.za or log on to the radio’s website at www.ecr.co.za.
