Choir clash: Imbali voice into next round

2012-11-26 00:00

Pietermaritzburg participant Sinenhlahnla Allie from Imbali is brimming with excitement after being chosen to go into the next round of Mzansi Magic’s new music reality show, Clash of the Choirs South Africa. Auditions were held at The Square boutique hotel in Durban yesterday for individual singers and choirs. They each had to perform an a cappella song, after which KZN’s Idols winner Khaya Mthethwa selected the best singers for his choir. His KZN choir will receive celebrity coaching to compete with six other celebrity-headed choirs from other provinces in a winner-takes-all battle for a R250 000 grand prize, which will go to the charity of their choice.
